Constructed of extra-think red cedar to provide base support for your cedar beehive. These bottom boards are rot-resistant and proven to withstand the elements longer that traditional bottom boards.

Screening extends to the edge, allowing vorroa mites to fall to the ground and away from bees.

This multipurpose bottom board is made of solid red cedar to resist rotting. Fixed Varroa Mite screen. Below the screen is a removable debris board (a white plastic corrigated board is provided to seal off the air flow). This devris board also contains 1" thick foam insulation board for better winter protection.
